Six Reasons Families Trust Heirwell
No Regulatory Entanglement
We are not lawyers, notaries, or financial planners. Our work is purely organisational, so families can engage with us freely, without worrying about formal obligations or costs they did not expect.
A Pace That Suits the Family
We do not push families to move faster than feels right. Whether a session takes two hours or a programme unfolds over two months, we follow your lead.
Skilled Facilitation
Family conversations about records and wishes can surface unexpected emotion or disagreement. Our facilitators are trained to hold these conversations with steadiness and respect.
Practical, Lasting Organisation
Our archive methods follow established information-management frameworks. The result is a family record that is easy to navigate, maintain, and hand on.
Professional Referral Network
Where families need a solicitor, accountant, or other licensed professional, we help them understand what to look for and how to approach that conversation — though we do not endorse specific firms.
Remote & In-Person Availability
Based in Surat Thani but serving families across Thailand and internationally via video call. We adapt our approach to what works for each family's geography and schedule.
In Depth
Each Benefit, Explained
Experience That Comes from Listening
Since 2019, we have worked with over 340 families across southern Thailand. That experience has refined how we approach sensitive conversations, how we structure records for different family types, and how we recognise when a family needs more time before moving forward.
- Over six years of family record work
- Team trained in archival methods and facilitation
- Multilingual support: Thai, English, Mandarin
A Framework Families Can Follow
We have developed a structured process for each programme that families receive as practical, clearly written materials. These are not proprietary systems locked behind ongoing fees — they are tools the family keeps and can use independently after our work together ends.
- Document checklists tailored to family type
- Archive structure family can maintain independently
- Clear written summaries after each session
Care That Is More Than Courtesy
We understand that conversations about family records often sit alongside grief, anticipatory loss, or long-held tensions about money or property. We approach these moments with genuine sensitivity, not just professionalism. Families frequently tell us that the session felt like a relief — not a transaction.
- Sessions held in a calm, private setting
- No pressure to discuss more than the family is ready to
- Follow-up available after each session
Clear Pricing, No Hidden Expectations
Our three programmes are fixed-price, fully scoped, and described clearly before any commitment is made. There are no retainer fees, no billable hours, and no upselling. Families know exactly what they are investing before they begin.
- Fixed programme fees in Thai Baht
- Full scope agreed before work begins
- No ongoing fees unless the family chooses archive maintenance
Outcomes Families Feel, Not Just Measure
A completed family archive does not simply tick a box. Families who have worked through the process with us consistently report feeling calmer, more organised, and more confident about introducing other professionals — lawyers, advisers — to handle formal matters. That peace of mind is the real outcome.
- Clear record of where key documents are held
- Shared family understanding of intentions
- Readiness to engage formal professionals when needed
How We Compare
Heirwell vs. Typical Alternatives
Many families turn to lawyers or financial advisers hoping for guidance on family records. These professionals do excellent work — but organising and facilitating is rarely their focus.
| Feature | Typical Formal Adviser | Heirwell |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly organisational — no binding documents | ||
| Fixed-price engagement | ||
| Focus on family dynamics and conversation | ||
| Takes session at family's own pace | ||
| Provides written archive family keeps independently | ||
| Helps identify when other professionals are needed |
What Only We Offer
Our Distinctive Approach
The Family Archive Framework
Our structured approach to gathering and labelling family documents was developed specifically for multi-generational Thai families with a mix of physical and digital records across different locations.
Guided Professional Introductions
When formal steps are needed, we help families understand what kind of professional to seek and what questions to ask — without acting as an intermediary or receiving any referral arrangements.
Thai & English Sessions
We work fluently in both Thai and English, which matters for families where members span generations, nationalities, or educational backgrounds. We can also accommodate Mandarin-speaking family members.
Archive Maintenance Option
Families who complete the Family Archive Programme can choose an annual maintenance session to update records as circumstances change — marriages, new property, changes in intentions — keeping the archive current without starting again.
